The clock is ticking people! The countdown is getting lower everyday.

Aside: we were a bit under the weather last week… anyone notice? I didn’t publish anything.

It’s the second half of the year! And you may be feeling the mounting pressure to be on top of things for the Fall. Or you could be basking in summer and the great weather.

I am trying to do both. Recently, I had the urge to go back to my plans at the beginning of the year. I didn’t have many. My priority was/is to nurture my baby.

At the back of my mind I still have the urge to be on top of things. Here’s how to maximize the year halfway through:

  1. Start now: yes, the novelty of the new year is motivating. But in all, the time of the year you accomplish things does not add much value to the accomplishment itself. If you’ve regressed on something you are staying away from. Start over and keep going. It’s time to recharge and regroup. Time to take a deep breath and keep up well doing.
  2. To do lists everyday/week/month: I think the year is going by pretty quickly. Have smaller to-dos, which will help motivate you and curate your accomplishments for the end of the year evaluation. As well, these will help you make sense of your resolutions and make them actionable as goals.
