Traveling? A Couple of Things to Note

I flew with my four-month-old for a day trip about a month ago. You guessed right, he is now five months old! It was a two-hour trip; he slept both ways. We flew again recently for longer and he barely slept for three hours. It was an eight-hour flight. He was ecstatic. He screamed. He does not scream when he cries but from excitment. I know... my baby is interesting.

I love to travel; I think my boy does too. Honestly, it can be stressful flying with a baby but the experience is worth it. In all, the right attitude facilitates a great experience.

Apart from googling what clothing items to pack, make sure to keep the following in mind:

  1. Create a packing list: your list should include things you absolutely should not leave behind. Like your passport, credit/debit card, clothing, a toothbrush, water bottle, Kleenex, medication, and toiletries. If you’re traveling with a baby. Take diapers, wipes, and clothes. Stock up your diaper bag in addition to your child’s luggage.
  2. Ensure you have your visa and know the travel requirements of the location you intend to visit. Due to Covid, different countries have different requirements. The airlines check at the airport but you should know yourself as well. Policies change so check as often as you can.
