Why I love to Travel!

I finally made it to Europe! I went to Germany and Austria! I can now conceptualize Sound of Music and the second world war better. In all, I had an excellent time!

My parents made sure we travelled when we were younger. We went on road trips and a couple of air trips. This is probably why travel is not daunting for me.

I would not trade the experience for anything and here’s why:

1. Novelty: exploring a new location is a wonderful feeling and experience. Going to a new location helps you taste what you haven’t, have conversations with interesting people, and experience new cultures. There is a freshness that travel unveils. We all like new shiny things and travelling opens you up to lots of new opportunities. Also, travel helps you flex your mental muscles, which you use to adapt to and navigate new spaces or situations.
2. Expands worldview: have you felt like you are living in a box. The world seems small and restricted to your room, home, or the people you know. However, like Aladdin and Princess Jasmine on that magic carpet ride, you realize that the world is big once you leave your comfort zone. You realize there is much more to life and life is not sad.
3. People: One of my favourite things about travelling is people. I love people and I love the perspectives people from different backgrounds have. We are…
